"It is A LOT tamer in the movie and not as gruesome. You do not see any of the animals get killed, that all pretty much happens off screen (although you do see Wilder hold one of the dogs underwater to drown it). You do however see dead dogs and of course Laing with Royal’s dog (still alive) and then you see part of the dog being roasted over the fire. When Royal’s dog gets beaten it’s all off screen and then you see it in the elevator with blood on it, but it’s quick and there’s not a lot of detail.

There’s no cat being tortured and there no cat eating their owner alive, they left that out.

There’s also a horse and you see it about to be killed for it’s meat, but you don’t see any of the process of it or any blood."

Окей, теперь я не уверена, что хочу смотреть High Rise, но зато на 100% уверена, что не хочу его читать.
Не думала, что там настолько много сцен издевательства над животными. А для меня это лютые триггеры. Боюсь, не высижу весь фильм, даже с завуалированными подробностями и Хиддлстоном в качестве подсластителя пилюли.
